I've had great times here on gundam00 with y'all. However, since deciding to leave the fandom to focus on other things at the beginning of 2008, I've been mostly inactive in this comm. Because of this, I've finally made the long-overdue move to step down as community moderator.

I'd like to thank cerulean88 for a) letting me mod the comm and providing moral support through it all; the new mods ginnyseta and shikumo for putting up with my lame absences; and of course, all the folks here for making this community what it is!

As a parting gift, perhaps, here's a mecha!girl New Year's greeting I painted for my friendslist. Rather sloppy I'm afraid, but I hope you'll like it, at least.

I have a good feeling about this year.


Fresh start, new decade. That and no fighting this year thank god. And no more apples. The first and last ten of any century seem to me to always be a shit storm from my very limited view of history, so it'll be interesting to see how the next ten play out.

All in all, It's been a damn good end of a year. We had everyone out here in nowhere land for Christmas. My stepsister, her husband, his kidlet, his mom , his brother Ian, his kids, Alexa, Kenny... It was a blast. We watched Trailer Park Boys and I got the crap beat out of me in a cat tail fluff war. They got me so good %,D~ God, Ian is a trip though. Just hanging around him when he was here boosted my faith in the human race. Odd thing about it is, he has absolutely none. I'm loving life right now, I can't wait to see what life has in store for me, for history.

And the beautiful weather we had seems like an excellent sign, if you ask me. It was absolutely gorgeous with the clear skies, the full moon (a blue one at that) and every thing, it's gotta mean something somekinda good.

... I kinda just realized that I had a stand off with the neighbors donkey as my first act of the year... That's kind of a downer %D;


NEW FORECAST FOR ISHI'S NEXT YEAR ON EARTH: SHE WILL BE A TOTAL ASS. More ass than an ass :/ Oh joy.

A little annoyed that we still have no date though. I mean, it's 2010 now. How can they say "Coming in 2010" when it's already 2010?


And while I'm at it, the first DVD set of S2 comes out March 2nd. Special edition has the first manga of S2. What confuses me is the set is only 7 episodes for 2 discs....
